With the help of volunteers from Setia Foundation, cooking classes were held at least once a month (in Penang, Johor and Selangor). From dishes to desserts, curry to muffin, every cooking class introduces the students to either a local dish or a dessert item.

Students were put into groups of 4 and everyone in the group would have to share the responsibilities to prepare the dish/dessert set for the day.

As it was a group activity, these students were able to learn to work together and break through the barrier to communicate with one another.
